About The Guest:

Jeff Kummer is a Petroleum Engineer and Minerals Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry of the Williston Basin.

A mineral and surface owner himself, Jeff has a comprehensive knowledge of property valuation, oil and gas leases, division orders, and negotiating strategy for the wide variety of agreements necessary for prudent oil and gas development. Jeff’s professional career as a petroleum engineer ranges from working for various operators across the Rockies to leading an oilfield services company in North Dakota.

Jeff was the Vice Chairman of the ND Oil & Gas Research Council as appointed by Governor Dalrymple, the ex-officio Chairman for the Industry Advisory Board to the UND Petroleum Engineering Department, and nationally recognized as a recipient of Oil and Gas Investor magazine’s “20 Under 40” award.

Jeff graduated from the Colorado School of Mines where he received a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.

MineralTracker was formed in Watford City, North Dakota and is a subsidiary of McKenzie Minerals Management, LLP, a family owned and operated business also based in Watford City.

  • I noticed on the MineralTracker website that the Mineraltracker Pro plan is $99/mo. Per well portfolio.  What does a user get for this price?
  • Jeff, can you talk about your typical client – are they individual mineral owners, family offices, mineral investors; what is the mix?
  • You mention that this includes unlimited wells through 2018 – is this for new users and loading wells into a portfolio, how will this change after 2018?
  • What is the average portfolio size for your typical user?
